Why should we book through the Bay of Islands Education Network?

Can we book direct with the members?

Yes you can, BUT

When you book with them direct you will have to pay the normal student rate and not the Bay of Islands Education Network rate, which is the best rate.

Do you organise visits for teachers to try out what's on offer?

We sure do! We can offer the chance for teachers to visit properties and experience itineraries for themselves before making a decision for classes or school groups. Please contact us info@bayofislandseducation.co.nz to enquire how to arrange this.

If we arrange our own transport to and from the area, can we still book the rest of the itinerary through the Network?

Absolutely! If it suits you best to find your own transport then we will make sure your itinerary is provided to you and your transport provider with plenty of time to answer any questions they may have.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellation fees apply if a booking is cancelled within 7 days of the date of travel. Each operator’s booking and cancellation terms will apply.

Do you only organise trips for school within New Zealand?

No – we can arrange an itinerary and quote for any school – whether from New Zealand or overseas.

Does the same price apply to all students?

We have prices based on age-range and whether the students are studying at a New Zealand school or visiting us from an overseas school. This will be clearly clarified for you during the enquiry and quoting process.

Is there a minimum length of stay?

No – we are very flexible with length of stay, from a day visit through to multi-day stays.

Can we book an activity outside of those advertised with the Network?

We have provided information about some of the very best activities available in the Bay of Islands and Northland area, but we can also make bookings with other operators and access the normal student rate.
