Experience manaakitanga at Te Rito Marae

Te Rito Marae Stay and Cultural Experience (overnight stay on a marae with meals)

The Twin Coast journey is rich in Māori culture, encounters with which take many forms. On the trail around 10km west of Kawakawa, the people of Te Rito offer marae stays and visits featuring a whakatau (a welcome and storytelling), accommodation, and home-cooked kai (food).

Located right on the Pou Herenga Tai Twin Coast Cycle Trail, approximately 2km from Moerewa township, we are surrounded by beautiful Northland countryside.

Te Rito caters for groups of twelve or more.  Nau mai Haere mai!
